Check your mortgage term
Make sure you check to see if there is an outstanding term on your mortgage before you set the wheels in motion. If you are tied into a fixed mortgage term there may be early repayment penalties. If you are on a variable rate or outside of your fixed term or alternatively are looking to increase your borrowing, lenders may simply renegotiate a new deal. We work with a number of mortgage brokers and partners who can search the market for the very best deals and offer advice on porting mortgages to a new lender if applicable.
